Most lawns will benefit from overseeding.
The best time for this work is when the soil is warm and moisture is either present or on the way, so autumn jobs usually give better results. Then the grass will establish and harden over winter before having to face the stress of the following summer.
LawnWorks uses machines like the one pictured to open the turf up so that the seed is pushed into contact with the soil and out of the way of the birds.
In most cases we will recommend a seed mixture containing good quality dwarf perennial ryegrasses but we can use other grasses if required to do so.
